SMRE Performance FORD Power wins the Hot Rod Magazines Pump Gas Drags

First it was Denney Terzich and Crew winning Drag week with his big chevy and Now Jim Plimton in his Ford Thunderbird wins the Pump Gas Drags!! Jim had us convert his 572 BBF from N2O to a gear driven F3R 139 ProCharger Morris Engine. This engine makes a mere 1723 HP at only 18 PSI boost ! On VP 93 octane fuel. We will be having this engine up on the web site at a later date. This same engine on VP Q16 will make 2100+ HP Jim and His crew got the car down to a 8.31 at 174 MPH there is more in the car too! even on pump fuel!!

7.51 at 191!! 3450 lbs On Drag Radials!!!

Will uses our Stage 3 System, Carb, Hat, Cam, Procharger and our own custom front mount brackets combo in his 509 to just flat out fly!

Denny is using one of our Engine Builder Kits, a Custom SMRE Performance Cam, Dominator Carb, and a Pro Series Carb Hat. SMRE went to Tune this car a few months ago and It made a awesome 1457 HP at the tire on a still soft tune up!  Off the trailer this car went 7.64 on et streets @ 3350 lbs.  But Hold on, this is no trailer queen.  

If you know the rules of "Drag Week" you have to Drive your car up to 360 Miles a day to go to the next Track!!!  Make sure you understand this right, Street car runs 7.50's to 7.70's and drives up to 360 miles A DAY to get to the next track to go 7.50's again!!  That is SMRE Performance Power, Innovation, and Reliability.
